This robe is my new go to. Never owned one and now I love it. I wasn’t crazy about the polyester fabric but for using it around the house it great . Me and the wife both have one and we love it . Throw the hood on and go get my mail , it’s great . Really soft and comfortable. Looks amazing and feels even better . Besides the polyester part it looks and feels great and the quality is there. I use it everyday and absolutely love it.
One of the softest, most comfortable robes I have worn. Because of my shape, many robes don't fit around my stomach completely. This robe fits perfectly and feels awesome. It is soft like chenille and warm. It is well priced and I recommend it for both men and women. I have been invited to participate in the Amazon Vine program and it is my responsibility to offer an unbiased opinion. I hope you found this review helpful.
I'll admit, I've never been a big robe guy - probably because I've never been a big morning guy. But in recent years, I've been falling asleep sooner and waking up sooner - the great signs of getting older. So some mornings while sipping my coffee, I thought a robe would be nice. My mother would often sip coffee in her robe in the morning, so I must've gotten it from her. Anyways, when I saw this Mon Chateau plush green robe with a hood up for review, I knew I had to give it a try.Packaging/Presentation: The robe arrived compactly in a little branded tie up storage bag and then sealed in another plastic bag. The storage bag itself was nothing that special, I'll probably end up throwing it out but it did add a little nicer touch then a standard plastic bag would.Look/Size: The robe is a one size robe and made of 100% polyester. Polyester in general isn't my favorite material in clothes, since it's not the most breathable, but for a robe I think it's fine. The first thing I noticed about the robe was its quite soft and plush. It's also a pretty good size. I'm a 6 ft 220 lb dude and the robe fit to just under my knees, and had no issues going around me with room to spare. The inner materials look pretty much the same as the outside, a green color with the same plush look and feel. I sometimes am worried about irritation on some "fuzzy" robes - this robe felt more smooth and I did not feel irritated or itchy when wearing it, which was my biggest fear and was quickly alleviated. Wearing it on the cool fall morning I felt great - comfortable, relaxed, and more cool than normal with my new hoodie robe.Features: The robe has two pretty standard pockets. Using my not-so-patented phone test, each pocket did fully hold my iPhone 17 pro, though there wasn't much additional room to spare. The kind of cool thing about this robe that sets it apart from other robes I've had is the hood. The hood has a plaid pattern on the inside and the same green plush design on the outside. I'm sure this isn't the only robe with a hood on it, but I rather like it on these increasingly cool fall mornings, and I will probably like it even more in winter. The fabric robe belt has two loops that it fits between and is pretty standard, no complaints there.Price wise, based on a quick 1 min search on this site this robe falls in the middle of the range I'd say, maybe on the higher middle range. It's not the most expensive but not the least expensive either. Given that this is a name brand product that I recognize, I am going to consider the pricing a neutral point on this review - always do your own research as pricing is subject to change. Conclusion: I rather like this robe. It fit well for a one size robe, it's comfortable, I like the color, and the hoodie design while I'm sure not original is less common than in most other robes I've seen, especially the plaid design. The pricing is a little higher than 'd like, but not outrageously out of range. The fact that I've been using this on my weekend mornings very consistently the past month proves that I very much like this robe and I am glad that I got it, and would therefore highly recommend it!
This robe is absolutely divine. It’s soft and fluffy and keeps me warm. It fits perfectly. It does not feel like flannel tho. It feels more like a velvet. It washes well and did not shrink or lose its plushness or softness. I will definitely be looking to get another one soon. The price is a little steep in my opinion but you get what you pay for. This is a high quality robe.
This robe is really soft and feels like good quality. It doesn’t seem like the kind of fabric that will pill up in the wash, which is a huge plus. I love that it’s hooded and the plaid inside gives it a nice touch. The length is a great midsize for me and I’m pretty short, so it would probably be more of a knee length for someone on the taller end. It’s functioning as both a robe and blanket since my little kids keep stealing it and using it on the couch, so that should tell you how cozy it is. 😅and it’s held up to being dragged around by a 3 and 6 year old with no holes or split seems so it seems durable. My cat even has a bed from this same brand that’s just as soft, so apparently they’ve got comfort figured out. It’s definitely not the absorbent type for after a shower, more of an around-the-house robe for relaxing.
